1 Essential Medical, Health & Dietary Disclaimer

By using KetoFan, you explicitly acknowledge and agree to the following:

• Consult Healthcare Professionals: A ketogenic (low-carb, high-fat) dietary regime significantly affects fluid retention, insulin sensitivity, and mineral/electrolyte balance. You should always consult your physician, doctor, or certified clinical dietitian prior to starting any restrictive diet or exercise program.
• Contraindications: Individuals with pre-existing medical conditions, including but not limited to Type 1 Diabetes, Type 2 Diabetes on insulin or SGLT2 inhibitors, chronic kidney disease, gallbladder disorders, pancreatitis, liver disease, cardiovascular conditions, a history of disordered eating, as well as individuals who are pregnant, nursing, or under 18 years of age, must NOT adopt a ketogenic diet without direct clinical medical supervision.
• Personal Responsibility: You assume all risks associated with your dietary choices, macronutrient limits, calorie deficits, fasting protocols, and physical exercise routines.

2 Acceptance of Terms & Eligibility

These Terms and Conditions constitute a legally binding agreement between you and KetoFan (ketofan.com). By downloading, creating an account, or browsing our application and website, you agree to comply with these terms.

Age Requirement: You must be at least 16 years old to register an account. If you are between 16 and 18 years of age, you represent that you have received permission from your parent or legal guardian.

3 Virtual AI Nutrition Coach Terms

The KetoFan Virtual AI Coach is an automated conversational assistant designed to help answer general nutritional questions, inspect ingredients for keto-compliance, and suggest lifestyle ideas:

• Automated Nature: Responses are generated using artificial intelligence and natural language processing. The AI is not a human doctor, certified dietitian, or licensed nutritionist.
• Ingredient Accuracy: Food manufacturers frequently update product formulations and additives. You must always read official product labels and ingredient lists before consuming any item.
• Emergencies: Never rely on the AI Coach for medical emergencies or symptoms of hypoglycemia, severe dehydration, ketoacidosis, or acute illness. Call emergency services (112 in Poland / Europe) immediately.

4 User Accounts & Security

When creating a KetoFan account, you agree to provide truthful and accurate information. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.

You may permanently terminate and delete your account at any time either within the mobile app settings or via our web-based portal at Account Deletion Portal.

5 Community Guidelines & User Conduct

The KetoFan Community feed connects keto enthusiasts across Poland. We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for:

• Harassment, hate speech, bullying, defamation, or discrimination.
• Posting unverified medical claims, dangerous extreme diets, or prescription drug promotions.
• Spamming affiliate links, commercial multi-level marketing (MLM) schemes, or unauthorized advertising.
• Uploading copyright-infringing images or sexually explicit content.

We reserve the right to remove any post and ban accounts violating these standards without prior notice.

6 Restaurant & Keto Places Directory Disclaimer

KetoFan provides a curated directory of restaurants, steakhouses, bakeries, and cafes in Kraków, Warsaw, Gdańsk, and across Poland offering low-carb options:

• Restaurant menus, ingredients, preparation oils (e.g., butter vs seed oils), and nutritional estimates are provided in good faith based on public menus and community feedback.
• Restaurants may modify recipes or suppliers without notifying KetoFan.
• Severe Food Allergies: If you suffer from celiac disease, nut allergies, lactose intolerance, or other severe food sensitivities, you must explicitly inform and verify with restaurant staff before consuming food.

7 Merchandise Store & Consumer Returns

Official KetoFan merchandise (such as stainless shaker bottles, ceramic mugs, and organic cotton apparel) is sold through our application and website:

• Pricing & Taxes: All prices are displayed in Polish Złoty (PLN) or Euros (EUR) and include applicable statutory VAT.
• 14-Day Right of Withdrawal: Under the Polish Consumer Rights Act (Ustawa o prawach konsumenta) implementing EU Directive 2011/83/EU, consumers have the legal right to return unused physical goods within 14 calendar days of receipt without stating a reason.
• To request a return, contact us at contact@ketofan.com. Items must be returned in original, unused condition.

8 Limitation of Liability & Governing Law

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law in Poland and the European Union, KetoFan shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the application, dietary changes, or reliance on nutritional estimates.

Governing Law: These terms are governed exclusively by the laws of the Republic of Poland and European Union regulations. Any legal disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in Poland.
